A Countryside Wedding: Danielle and Jack

Updated: Sep 5

If you now me, you'll now I love all things whimsical, floral, and country. I'm a huge fan of the outdoor lifestyle and the idea of community. Which is why this countryside wedding is one of my top favourite weddings of all time (although there are a good few on the list!)

Danielle and Jack planned the most gorgeous day from start to finish. The church in Barrowden made a beautiful backdrop for their vows, while friends and family gathered to watch. While a handful of guests gave the wedding a very intimate vibe, the feelings of happiness absolutely radiated from every single person in that church.

Completely donned in flowers, St Peter's Church just looked stunning - and almost effortless (despite a HUGE amount of effort going into the floral arrangements by the mother-of-the-groom! - she even grew most of them herself).

And once the ceremony was over, guests all grabbed a vase each and walked back to the Exeter Arms pub to decorate the reception marquee. Now that's what I call the perfect wedding - everyone chipping in to make the day just perfect for the newly weds.

And I have alot to say about the Exeter Arms too. Considering this was their very first wedding, they did an absolutely fantastic job. It really is a hidden gem in a quiet country village in Rutland. But what a gem it is. The gardens are perfect for a warm evening drink, while the two marquees joined by an outdoor covered bar provided the perfect space for friends and family to gather and celebrate.

The food was glorious, the music fantastic, and the cake from Jodie's Bakes was to die for. And if you're reading this and I forces you onto the dancefloor for a few songs before I went home for the night - sorry, not sorry :)

Danielle and Jack, you really did outdo yourselves with this wedding. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and hope you enjoy this little sneak preview from your day.
