Welland Studios has over 10 years experience photographing children of all ages. Since our recent expansion, we've been offering school and nursery photography in Corby and the surrounding towns and villages. Our packages are flexible ensuring all parents have the opportunity to purchase images of their children in either print or digital formats. Nursery Photography
We offer flexible nursery photography packages that allow parents to purchase beautiful, high-quality prints or digital files of their child. For over 10 years, we've been photographing children and families in a fun and natural way, so are well-accustomed to photographing nursery-aged children. We use setups that don't overwhelm younger age groups, making the whole process much more comfortable. For more information on our price lists and packages, get in touch.
The Process

Booking In
Nurseries wanting to book their photography will need to fill in a booking form. This gives us an idea of the size of your setting and the age range of children.

Proof Cards
Around 4-5 days after the session, proof cards will be sent to the nursery for parents to order online. We aim to offer each child 3 different photographs to choose from. If your nursery has less than 20 children, we also offer an online proofing system that holds galleries of up to 10 photographs.

Photo day
Babies tend to take longer to photograph so if your setting is mostly a pre-school we estimate photographing up to 10-15 children per hour. Babies can be between 5-10 children per hour. We always try our best to get smiles but they're not guaranteed!

Delivery
Once ordered, digital files will be emailed to parents directly within 48 hours. Prints will be processed after the deadline date and delivered to the nursery setting in a single order for staff to distribute.
Nursery Graduation Photography
Nursery graduations are becoming an important milestone for many parents as they prepare to send their children to school. We offer nursery graduation photography so parents can cherish those early years forever. We have two options for nurseries; either pay upfront and offer prints as a gift to your school-leavers and their families, or provide proof cards for parents to purchase themselves. Our online ordering system allows parents to pick and choose the sizes they'd like to order, or digital downloads if they prefer.
Outdoor Nursery Photography
As avid lovers of the outdoors, Welland Studios loves to create natural nursery photographs using your outdoor spaces. Many nurseries today are leaning towards more natural learning environments, introducing Forest Schools into their curriculums and encouraging free play. If your nursery promotes the outdoors then make sure your nursery photography does too. Whether it's in your forest school setting, or simply in the garden, our outdoor nursery photography will truly reflect your learning environment. We offer both posed outdoor photographs as well as action shots so you can offer your parents a flexible nursery photography package. School Photography
We offer excellent, high-quality school photography for primary school children across Corby, Kettering, and the surrounding villages. Our background as children and family photographers means we're experienced in creating natural and fun environments for children to be photographed within. We use modern, simple backdrops or picturesque locations within your setting that won't overwhelm students, ensuring the perfect photograph every time.
School and Nursery Photography Packages
We offer flexible school and nursery photography packages that cater for both digital and print preferences. Our aim is to create high-quality, professional images at a reasonable price, allowing more parents access to their children's school or nursery photographs. Parents will receive proof cards 4-5 days after the session date. We accept both cash payments directly to the school or nursery, and can also provide a QR code for those wanting to order online.

Booking Your Nursery or School Photography
We booked Welland Studios in the summer to photograph over 600 participants. Natasha was very friendly and made all the gymnasts feel at ease during their session.
Grace - Corby Gymnastics Academy
Most of our clients book their nursery photography twice a year to cover new intakes as well as to celebrate the graduation period in the summer, and make the most of Christmas sales in the winter. November and June are very busy months for us so be sure to get in touch quickly to reserve a session.
School photography is usually booked during September or October but we are available all year round should you wish to book end of term photography for school leavers. We also cover proms and formal dances!
