I met Nicole almost 20 years ago when we were fresh-faced emo teenagers listening to My Chemical Romance and Blink-182 (can I just quickly point out that I'm pretty sure both of thee bands featured on the bridal prep playlist).
So to be stood by her side on her wedding day, capturing the most precious memories of her life while she married her best friend, holding onto her two beautiful children, it brought me to tears.
The day started off at the Raven Hotel Corby, with Immie downing an entire punnet of strawberries, and Freddie showing off some impressive dance moves in the car park.
By midday, we were stood inside the Corby Cube witnessing the most beautiful ceremony between Nicole and Ash. The venue is honestly one of the best registry offices I've photographed in, with gorgeous natural light streaming through the floor to ceiling windows.
Heading back to the Raven Hotel, the party started with a fantastic confetti throw, some great food and ended with a sparkler bang.
After a year of rain, these guys were so lucky to have such glorious sun shining down on them - which I believe reflects the true happiness in their lives.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hodgkins, your best years are yet to come.
